I guess no one's into giraffes as much as you. I think what you have here is quite nice aesthetically but there's not much reason to be into the t-shirt unless you like giraffes, or dancing?
What is that dance that they're doing? Maybe you could provide more of a 'hook' if they were doing something that provided more humour or something, like driving a car with there heads through the sunroof!? Just a thought. |

why not just have them in their element? in a savannah, feeding on some tree top leaves?
and instead of completely skeletal, have little patches on skin still clinging in areas with the usual giraffe pattern give mine a look, will ya? |

Woah - But thats like doing a whole new design.
Are you tripping? That was like a dream. How about I do one where the giraffes have your face and they're in school, it's not their school, but it has that kinda feel. And their teeth are all falling out and they're flying, only it's more like treading water and they can't get down.. How about something like that??? |

The entire thing is spooky. Dancing dead giraffe? It's like something out of a David Lynch movie.
It's a solid drawing and design, but it is unsettling as a threadless t-shirt. It would make a killer grateful dead t-shirt though. |

And since when did you work for Threadless?
I thought the voting here was democratic. There's loads of tee's with skulls on, no one says's oh my god why are you walking around with a dead human head on your shirt. They're decorative, Imaginative and different. Some people like that on a t-shirt. |

The VOTING here is democratic, but this is a crit. page and this is my opinion. BUT you're right-- I am being presumptuous. It's seriously hard telling what the masses will like.
Yes, it is a weird double standard about human skulls. I think a lot of it has to do w/ exposure. A human baby skull (for example) would be macabre to many people. If you think it works- go ahead. |

Wow, Magpie king. I don't really know what to say here. I'm actually quite put-off by your manner of responding to people who comment on your work and try to offer suggestions. Not only here, but on other works of yours up for critique...such as Henry the 80's. I was going to comment on that one, but after reading your posts under it, I didn't feel like it was worth my time. I really think you'll get more people interested in helping you out if you don't get all nasty and on them when they do.
