this time pioneer SX-780 check it out in all it's 1978 made in Japan goodness blah blah 45WPC but 1978 45watts apparently kills 2012 45watts btw.    
so.. here it is in all it's just out of the fedex shipping boxes 1970s glory
Pioneer SX-450 (it is kind of a baby receiver if i'm honest...but it was $50 and I LOVE IT..well in the 1/2 hour i've had it.    
so... i guess my luck isn't terrible I've ordered maybe 40 things on ebay over many years (i joined in 99 lol..)
but finally i seem to have kinda got screwed ...I ordered a vintage receiver the seller claims to have sent but the tracking number they gave doesn't show up a valid with UPS..... HMMMMM then they had some story about trying to track it down.. it is weird the seller has been on there for 10yrs and has decent feedback but...every thing has just been sketch about this deal anyways I opened a buyer's protection case and then the dude emailed with some story about how he couldn't refund me cause i had a hold on ebay?? and wanted to send me a check I was all hell no you say you shipped me a receiver that you have no valid tracking info ...last thing i need is another 3 weeks of bs ..it must be lost in teh mail. So I call paypal to see what they have to say...and they say yeah there is a hold????? i'm all WTF..they transfer me to ebay.. who connect me to buyer's protection who say blah blah the seller is full of bs.. he just needs to put the money for the ref in his account and click the big blue refund customer box...LOL They say sometimes people will try to get you to close the buyers protection claim BEFORE they can send you a ref....YEAH RIGHT or in my case try to have some bs i'll send you a check... anyways be careful if you ever have something pull a no show... I replied back to the dude with what ebay told me... I guess will see now what he does...if he don't give me my damn money in a couple more days i'm going to just escalate it to ebay i guess. anyways.. i'm not sure what to take away from this cause i've got a bunch of things i'd never have found locally and some pretty good deals..but when it goes wrong it is kind of a pain in teh ass =p just to show what a glutton for punishment i am I ordered another receiver instead and so this is currently nearly to me (I HOPE...this one's tracking info actually works...it was actually cheaper than the other one i didn't freaking get...meh)  By maddingo at 2012-03-19it will be rad if i actually get the god damn thing (and it is one piece...lol...fingers crossed). when I told my wife I didn't expect anyone to have a parade in my honor for my handling of her illness / taking care of her.....I didn't mean people should try to rip me off... meh...
   rocking out ...early 80s style with my $15 estate sale store find today... need to clean this thing up (bit of static when adjusting volume...but honestly it has almost cleared itself running the volume back and forth some) meh.. this thing was a pretty entry level amp when new i think but what the hell for $15 =p it is kinda kewl looking and seems to be working pretty good.

I had to get the door for ups delivery my cat was totally sitting watching and waiting 4 me It may sound far fetched but he will always come from wherever in the house when NBR starts. So funny
