Not calling rip-off, just interesting timing, and a lovely monster-movie homage.

This is definitely a graphic/web designer's shirt, as lorem text is like the bread and butter, the salt and pepper, the... umm...

This is the second of two lousy penguin shirts this week...

The people of Threadless have spoken, and apparently they demand more penguins, which leads me to believe that the majority of the voters are 13 year old girls.

Good fucking job threadless.

I think the design has merit, the colors are atrocious, but I digress.

Why was this designer granted a select? Some research shows that they only have one previous design, and no winners. Am I just looking at their page incorrectly?

Is doing a select some sort of chore that the "artist" just throws some stock image on a tee with a colored box. This is pure garbage.

That's all I can think as I look at, admire, and purchase this shirt. Bravo.

There isn't a ton of buzz about this design, but there seems to be one dedicated to raving about how amazing this shirt is. Would someone mind explaining it's appeal to me, as I just don't see it?

And yes, I know it comes with a headband, which makes even less sense to me. I would just like to know why this is so well received.
