last night i had the pleasure of attending the opening of the BLAB show. it was quite wonderful, and as a magical surprise, pieces from two of my favorite artists (Ray Caesar and Marion Peck) were there. some others i really liked were Fred Stonehouse, Amy Crehore, Esther Pearl Watson.







if you're in LA you need to check it out. it runs til 10/21. oh, and there was an old lady wearing a sequinned clown suit and carrying a little puppet that matched her. she asked me if i was a Shag follower and i replied that i wasn't, and then she told me "i ate broccoli today" as she wandered off.
