I started doing this thing at work where I do one quick random doodle a day, kinda like a MSCED, while I'm waiting for an animation to finish rendering or when I'm on my break. It's a nice getaway from staring at the computer screen all day. I call it my "Random Work Doodles". I've turned some of my doodles into subs and even collabs with a few designers here.
You can find my doodles on my Instagram, Flickr, and Tumblr.  I have a pile of scratch paper on my desk that I use to doodle on. My doodle instrument of choice is my trusty red ballpoint pen (that's all they had in the supply room at the time).  i made something :) a long time ago, i swore to myself that i would never succumb to making a star wars related design. but being exposed to star wars and clone wars everyday at work it happened... a star wars idea with FWF! i was in an art meeting and eating a cookie, and i was like, "haha cookie rhymes with wookiee!" i know it's not very original or clever, but it is for little ol' me :) hope you guys like it!

a few people have asked me throughout the years to make a generic flash template (kinda like Manos') for them to use. welp, i finally got off my lazy butt and made one (you guys can thank valorandvellum).

Import to the Library: File, Import to Library..., select your files, Open. 3. Yes to "Replace existing items." 4. Changing the color of the buttons: ----------------------------------------------------- 1. From the main stage, select the button movieclip you want to change in the "buttons" layer (the green outlined squares). 2. Open up the Properties panel: Window, Properties, and select a new color from the Tint color swatch. 3. Test the movie: Control, Test Movie. If you only need two buttons, you can delete the third button called designExtra from the main stage. it's nothing fancy like Manos' though :P you can get his here: MANOS' TEMPLATE you can still email me for custom presentations.

hi everybody! :) it's me, your friendly apartment complex phil. like everybody else, i'm uber excited about the new Loves Travel 2 contest and i've been working hard on a design. i think i'm almost done with it, but i need YOUR HELP!
 my design is about saying "Hello" in different languages or ways. for my presentation, i thought, "hey! threadless is a huge cultural melting pot, why not see if bloggers would like to model for me and i'll include it in a slideshow of some sort?" so, here's where you guys come in. take a big enough (640x800 px) photo of yourself waving and wearing a plain white tee. try to get as much as your body in the photo and try to keep the front of the tee clear so i can place the design. be silly, goofy, whatever you like while waving. when you're ready, just email one photo to phil@minicubby.com and include how YOU say "hello" and i'll try to put it in my presentation. deadline is NOV. 20. oh yah, don't forget to include your threadless name and where you're from! i'll try my best to include all photos, but if they're too small or too hard to work with, then i'll have to pass on them. sorry :( AND... as an incentive, i'll give $25 GCs to 2 random people who send me photos. ready. set. go! -------------------------------------------- i've got photos from... 1. igo2cairo 2. b7 3. alvarejo 4. olie! 5. chipmnk 6. jeffreyg 7. ratkiss 8. littlem 9. lizziem 10. andyg 11. johnny baboon 12. alexmdc 13. sonmi 14. ir0cko so i drew names out of a hat live on bacontaco (so i have witnesses) and the winner are: LIZZIEM & JEFFREYG!!!!
