On my latest design Meet the Beetles a few people mentioned that Paul's bass should face left, which I've tried to accomodate but it's been difficult tweaking the composition. Which of these works best, or is there another way to arrange them that would work:

I'm testing a new print prediction theory to see if it yields any meaningful results. It's entirely unbiased and is not based upon score (although many of the subs in question are high scoring). Nor is it based upon any personal preference of mine, or intuition. It's marginally scientific in the sense that the resulting list is generated completely by recording a specific anomaly, which may or may not be credible (hence the test).

I don't really like U2.
Which bands do you dislike that everyone else seems nuts for?
... but I have two designs up at the moment and a few ideas and collabs I'm working on. :)

Tried something different for this one, even though pixel art doesn't seem to be everyone's cup of tea. It was fun working on something so far outside my usual style. I might re-sub it at some point with more characters (abraham lincoln, ninja, Snape, etc).

Men in Black - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

This one was experimental but I was actually pretty happy with how it turned out. It's a collab with my brother Terry. I've never tried to turn one of my figure drawings into a t-shirt design and it was quite a challenge. Thursday has been rather cruel to it, with the score dropping slowly throughout the day.

Anyway, votes and comments appreciated. Feel free to post links to your own designs as well, or a design that has caught your attention.
When I tried to get on the flight in Toronto they informed me that my passport was expired. Thank god I had my American passport with me too. I had decided to take it with me at the last moment. Now I'm chilling out in the airport in Taipei because it's too early to do anything. 4AM.

I watched four movies on the flight over. My eyes are bloodshot.
Since my living room is also my work space, I'm looking for a chair that can serve a dual function as desk chair and occasional chair. I thought this one might work:

I figure I can swivel it around as extra seating. I need a very narrow coffee table... or perhaps I should forgo a coffee table altogether. My place is tiny.

I'm still looking for a couch for my condo. Browsing through the buy and sell on kijiji. These were the best of a sorry lot.

Vote for your favourite.

Leather lounge, $450 OBO. I like it but I think it might be a bit too wide and impractical for my space.

EQ3 couch. one year old. originally $1,100, priced at $350 OBO. It sort of matches the colour of my bike.

Leather day bed $250.

UPDATE!

You helped me pick a couch, now help me choose pillows. Also, should I put up Yoda print by Todd Slater, or Threadless display art.

I was wandering around Kensington Market today and discovered a little one man operation at the back of a Mexican bakery. The owner had sublet the space and carefully prepared each dish by himself. He also had a cool hat and impressive knife skills.

I tried the chicken tostado, which was smoky and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

For dessert I had a piece of lime cake. I was surprised when he drizzled extra virgin olive oil over the slice. The richness of the cake was perfectly offset by the tangy citrus of the freshly grated lime zest. It was fantastic.

There really isn't much point to this blog other than to say I had a tasty lunch. If you're ever in Kensington Market I recommend stopping in for lunch. The service is a pretty slow because he takes his time preparing each dish no matter how big the line up is.

The owner also has a good blog about Mexican food, including recipes.
