Still have to laugh each time i see it!
WOW, my first Secret Santa....

I was a little disappointed at christmas time, because my parcel had not yet arrived, I thought I had been forgotten, but the wait was worthwhile.

on Thursday the postman delivered a huge box to me, I got really excited, but waited a while till Lonkiponk got home to share the opening excitement....

Upon opening joy upon joy, my very own set of 216 Buckyballs!

next out the box came a book, looking at the title I was a little WTF is this?
Photobucket

It was only after trying to page through it that I discovered the reason for its unappealing cover...

A real hideaway contraband stash smuggling book.... Wow that must have taken some time to cut away all those pages, Thanks secret santa!

And to accompany this stash smuggling masterpiece, some ORGANIC HEMP rolling papers. Beautiful!

Then a miniature Bonsai tree growing set. Growing a bonsai tree from seed is going to take a long time, I had better get started!!!
Photobucket

In a protective tube were two drawings from my secret santa:
Firstly an orginal drawing of a Rock taking revenge on a sheet of Paper
Photobucket
And secondly a drawing of a Mountain Gnome
Photobucket
and a Lonkiponk!

Lastly hiding at the bottom of the box was a Threadless fieldnotes book (in green - my favourite colour)

With a message from my Secret Santa on the first page...

THANKS JAKE FRIEDMAN, what an awesome package you sent! Much appreciated!

sorry for the delay in posting this, my hands have been very busy with those darn Buckyballs!
Yipppeeee!

Today was the defence of my thesis, I had to present my thesis and then be examined on it.

I got a 7/10 for a final mark for it, and am happy to be finished. With that I am also finished my Masters degree in Organic Agriculture! Graduation is at the end of January!

Happy Days!

Because then I get to go home again....

to Sunny Warm South Africa!!!!

Tonight I'm gonna set up my Märklin train set

I have the Fanta Fe locomotive and lots of tracks that used to belong to my father when he was a boy. I also have a few carriages, but not so many new ones, quite a few suffered damage as a result of train crashes during my childhood games....

But its gonna be fun to set it up again tonight...

Does anybody else have Märklin trains?
