Hey everyone,
I'm back from a break, I will admit I haven't been keeping up on my personal projects because well... life gets in the way. Work, ministry and family. My husband James and I had our daughter Isabelle Ruth (aka Isa-Belly, aka Izzy-Bean) 6 months ago. Since she's been born and I went back to work I have been inspired in a way that I haven't felt in a long time. Looking forward to creating more designs and your feed-back!
Hey does anyone know why certain designs voting closes early? I sent in a question and haven't received an answer back. Its happen to my last 3 designs, is there a reason or do my designs just suck?
While doing some research at work I came across this website and it has some great election posters. So get out there and vote November 4th cause if you don't vote you have no reason to complain.

The Threadless Loves Drawing contest is the first time I have submitted anything to Threadless or really any kind of contest and the results have been amazing. I really thought only 25 people would vote for me so I cant believe the response.
Ive been working in the design industry for 4 years and working on everyone else's stuff and not having much confidence in my own stuff. This was an exciting and frightening experience very reminiscent of standing up in front of the class and getting critiqued by your fellow design students. Thanks for everyones votes and honest feedback which has been awesome and I am looking forward to taking your suggestions and becoming a better designer. Thanks!!!!
Hey everyone, my husband James and I have started another blog called "The Design Game" since I am a graphic designer and he works as a 3D game designer.
We thought we might have some interesting thoughts and advice for students and to gain advice from our peers in the field. Theres not much up on it now but please feel free to check it out time to time. blog.jamesman.com about Do-Re-Mi-Quack!
I really like this design, its simple, it has some really great colors and the concept is awesome. The tree has some interesting texture with the cross hatching and the type face is extremely effective and goes with the dumpy little duck. I wonder if the artist design the font or they found it either way very effective. |
