cute.
the yellow and orange seem a little bright to go with the faded green. maybe take some of the saturation out of the brighter colors? |
|
this reminds me a LOT of Fleur Cowles' illustrations in Robert Vavra's children's book "Tiger Flower." a little too close for my comfort, although I'll concede it could be pure coincidence...

Bra. Vo. I love the little tiger on the leaf on the left. In fact, I'd like a two inch tiger. See if you get cracking on that. Thanks.

|
Junquegrrl-- I checked out your reference and I see where you are coming from, but I honestly had never seen Cowles' work before today, it's beautiful, so I appreciate the comparison.

if you haven't seen her work before, i'm not surprised - unfortunately the children's books I'm talking about are OOP :-(

and ps I love how the one on the right is slinking off....
This concept is really fantastic. Play on words. Love it. |
|
Pirotess-- It is actually on slate gray (hard to see I know), I am not so down with the white Tee look myself. I think it would look good on navy as xxemokitty7xx said or pink as well.

nice design, bad colour shirt. everyone has white shirts.. you need a colour that someone will want to buy for a NICE shirt. I would try a green or mid brown hue.

I agree bunnybee. This concept is incredible but the end product is way to cut & paste. I wish the tigers flowed out of the lily plant a bit better.

|
The concept and the style are really cool, the tigers just look a little unnatural for some reason. Like someone said, they could flow out of the plant a little better. Great job though!
