I love it. I didn't notice the guitar/keyboard thing until I read the comment. But looking at it now just makes me laugh. There are animals playing instruments. I don't think the shirt is trying to portray reality.

Hello, to answer some of your questions...The cable was spelling out 'The Animal Years,' originally, but based on advice from Threadless I thought it best to remove all text! Knuklehedz I like your thought process! Cornerlibrarian the guitar animal is a ickle bunny so has to be short!

Oh yeah! and gotMOXY, The man (Josh) looks discontent because he's being backed buy a load of animals (they have no fingers to play keys/guitar, they're rubbish!!!) and the animals look discontent because they really wanted to play with Ted Nugent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The guitar/keyboard thing is odd... but also, why is an acoustic guitar plugged into anything?
And why are we focusing on the little odd things when there is a DEER playing drums, a DOG playing keyboard, and a BUNNY playing backup guitar!?!? I mean SHEESH! It's it obvious the dog would do better on the drums than the deer! gawd! *sense of realism asplodes* ..fun design! |

the animal years is about the singer himself, not his band. for that, i think he'll pass on it. however, very cool illustrative style--lose the tan box behind the figures.

This is the coolest shirt I've ever seen. Love the colors exactly as they are, and every character. I don't like the guitar plugging into the keyboard, but I absolutely love everything else and want this.

Hey Lashford, This is my interpretation of 'The Animal Years,' nothing to do with reality or an accurate representation of it!!! I do have a version of this image with the cable spelling out 'The Animal Years,' - this would poss' quell any confusion with what plugs into what!?! |

d3d on Feb 01 '07 i think that would be a mistake. i love the baffling wire. maybe everything should plug into everything. this deserved a better score for the drawing style.
