Sorry, gotta go against ya'll on this one. Yes, the art is nice. NO, the mice with EARS GROWING OUT OF THEIR BACKS--or the APPEARANCE OF SAID EARS GROWING OUT OF BACKS--is not awesome. It's creepy and unsettling and while I usually like creepy and unsettling this crosses the heebie-jeebie line for me. So... uh-unh.

I think the colours are unnecessary watery and the design should have been bigger. The art work is disappointly bland for such a very good idea. The overall coloration lacks impact. I think an I-pod would have been more appropriate and aesthetically more pleasing. There is no background and there is no surroundings. I think people will find this shirt a bit boring once the novelty of the mice wears off. I think the very good concept masks a poor and lazy design. It should manage to win despite the its flaws

Also, iPods on shirts are very poser-ish. When these mice were developed, walkmen were more common. |

I think the concept is rad, it's right up there with the great Threadless designs that only certain people will "get." It's much stronger on the darker background.

this is quite spectacular! i really love everything about it....
except.... i don't know if i'm the first to notice this, but continuity error(?) the earbud labels of L and R are on the incorrect ears. easy fix, i know, but i couldn't help but point that out. (i also love that it's the walkman - maybe just remove the L and R?) |
