I don’t like….. well a lot of this but I will try to at least give you some good criticism. Why dose the guy have a face and the girls do not? Try to at least be consistent in you drawings. They guys feet “in the sand” at least show a line or something so it does not look like he has deformed feet. The blanket looks more like a flying carpet then a beach towel work on the perspective a bit. Ok I think that is enough to get you on the right track and take my advice or leave it.

didnt want them facing him thats a first and on shirts is appears feet ion water or in sand did the lines and removed them bout the towel didnt want it in perfect perspective and wanted it also wavy as like sand under it but i appreciated ur comments :)

but even if the girls arent looking at the guy, surely they stoill have faces, and it doesnt appear his feet are in anyting, if you want it to look like sand i suggest you erm, make it look like sand, little dots all over the place and whatnot

Very amatuer looking. Your lack of experience in design really shows in all your designs. I would suggest you work on your skills in the applications you are using, wether it be photoshop or illustrator or a combination of the 2. After you're done getting better in the application you are using, I suggest you really think about an idea before taking it to the tshirt design stage. Make sure that people will understand it first and foremost, then make sure it is a suitable design for a tshirt that people would actually want to wear.

I think this is supposed to be a critique, not some immature whine-fest ... for sure one thing is clear, the shirt needs some work ... your logic isn't there, and most agree on this. So darkdog, swallow your pride and rework the design .... or trash it and work with something new ... we don't make any money if we say your shirt looks like trash or looks like the next coming of the messiah ... it's our opinion and you can either work with what we say or keep posting your refutes.

well this is coming from my artist view being a painter and having experience with screen printing (i add this because you seem to be worried about being critiqued by someone with no experience)



Choose face or no face you need to create some sort of connection between the figures (color cannot be the only thing that ties a design together)



The towel/blanket thingy doesn't look like what it was supposed t be (perspective or not) It looks like a bunch of squares



Give the figures a space some sort of environment otherwise it's just people floating out in space which is why the half feet are confusing. Make sure it does reflect a beach setting regardless of t-shirt color



You do need to practice more try making several sketches of your design put them away for a day then take them back out and analyze them and make changes



Good thing is your human proportion is fairly accurate so good job



last thing to be a real artist you must take all criticism with an open mind and put them to use don't get self defensive or take it personally

I just want to note that the Art Spirit by Robert Henri does not really apply here. While I appreciate how Henri talks about art as a lifestyle, threadless is about printing designs that the majority of the people will like and buy. So feel free to post designs that very few people enjoy, in fact, I encourage the nonconformity, but do not try to invoke Henri on Threadless.
