The beak and parts of the eye are supposed to be that nice orange color, as seen in the full Rooster image. It changed when it compressed for the upload. Please try to use your imagination on that one, sorry about that :) Thanks again! |

I love the bling on the toes!! I agree w/ seeing the salt and pepper shakers go. I think another color might suit it better.
You know hens are only feamale, right? The legs, feet & toe nails are spot on. But, the feathers may need a bit more work?! And the beak is a bit small. Males (roosters) have bigger combs on the (tops)of their heads and bigger waddles (bottom) than feamales. (I have 7 chickens hens & roosters) |

I think the salt/pepper can stay or go, it was just a fun little additive of mine. Also, thank you for the rooster/hen trivia 'Mama Young' :) I do know that hens are female and he is a male chicken, or a rooster. I was not that set on rendering every part of a rooster and that is why I changed parts of the bird to fit my design. I must say though roosters also don't wear suits, did you notice he is in clothing? Maybe yours do wear clothes?! Just playing with you, thanks for the comment :) |

Very cool illustration! Although It isn't really something I would personally wear on a shirt, but the artwork is excellent and it would make a great print!

About my design
I've always thought chickens had a lot of personality. I wanted to do a design based on the fact that there can only be one rooster in the hen house - so I decided to play off of that and do this "pimp" rooster.
