Thanks but no thanks, I've seen some really weird stuff that i would never were get a lot of attention. Remember the customer is planning on wearing the shirt out in public. Rainbow, unicorns and what ever not just doesn't cut it. I'm not going to wear that crap and get my butt kicked.

jpiatt on Mar 18 '09 Ok...you are clearly begging for attention, so I'll give you some attention.
First of all, commenting 20+ times on your own sub is just lame. It makes you look desperate, it is annoying, and you are probably turning people off. Secondly, the design is technically OK. Nothing great, nothing outstanding. The drawing style isn't bad at all but the subject matter just sucks ass. It's just a guy with a gas mask on...that's been done about 5000 times. A good shirt design tells a story or has an element of humor in it. This is just a cliche image placed on the shirt...big deal. I'll give you a 2 out of 5. Keep subbing, but stop being such a twat |

People are constantly posting blogs with rough sketches axing "Has this been done?" Usually, it has. The other piece is that unless the design is a WOWFEST that covers the entire shirt with JESUSAMAZING, you will need a very strong "concept". Usually this is a backstory to some well-known thing, or a pun (CAREFUL with these), or some before/after thing, or just something that is so odd that it makes you smack your friends. I wouldn't just say, "I'm gonna do . . ." around here. I'd ask. We've been over all this, Nate. :( |

I'm just hanging in there with this design and seeing how it scores in the end. I do plan on designing some very unique here in the near future. Maybe it will be cool maybe not. |
