how many different colors of gray are in there?

Thanks to the magic of photoshop, I'm pretty certain there are three colors of gray plus black. There's the gray of the background, the slightly darker gray that covers most of the figure, the dark grey that you can see on the bottom of his right leg (and is sort of scattered all over) and then there's the black of the outline

I can appreciate an attempt at doing a hand drawn illustration.
Unfortunately, if you're going to draw a human, you should at least know the basic proportions of the body. |

I think it has potential. Lose the background and blend it into the shirt better.

I love the image, but you really should try blending the background into the the shirt a little better. Possibly a thick black border around the image. That would look great on that color shirt, or even a dark grey shirt.

Great drawing.
But I have to agree with the comments about the squareness of the image. This would look good in a picture frame. Not so good on a tshirt. |

Hey guys, with a day left I just wanted to say thanks for the comments, it is giving me an idea of what works and doesn't work on my first submission (and the score will probably tell me to what degree it worked or didn't work).
Thanks especially to those who gave suggestions as to what would work better. If anyone else has other comments, please feel free. Any advice would be appreciated. |

ha, i'm very much in love with your country boy. the drawing's just fantastic. i'm usually one for borders, or at least more natural cut offs, but I like this AS IS, in the cut-and-paste way it looks.
