Pretty funny... but I think it would be better if you wrapped a leg a bit or something... make an obvious "boo boo" so it's more obvious why the collar is there. With the color, it almost looks like a baby's bonnet otherwise.
... and please, another shirt color option! A light gray? |

Actually, animals wear those things to prevent any self-injury that scratching might cause. It has nothing to do with being in an accident.

great design and concept but i have to agree with the other posts regarding the colors. black t-shirts have such a 'stigma' about them. outlines might work better, too.

sorry to burst the bubble, but there's a few too many colours in there, though that could be solved by making the collar thing the same colours as the at... thing... but oin those reds it just wouldn't stand out on the black anyway so they'd need to be changed too...

Love it just the way it is. The AT-AT has to be red, because if it were grey then it would just look like a normal picture of an AT-AT... and the red colors are perfect, it has a tech-y michel gondry/colourform thing going on. love it -

Hello all,
It is amazing to get so many comments. I really appreciate it. I fully understand peoples issues with the colors. I suffered over what I thought worked best, but I did want to get away from the actual At-At color. The design is in-fact 4 distinct colors, but could be simplified if necessary. Again thanks for the praise and advice. And thanks Threadless for a great forum for T-shirt lovers everywhere. |

I also love the light blue dog cone. Oh, crap. There ARE five colours (darker red in the face and back leg.) Am I seeing it wrong? Just the way it is, I would buy it. |

yeah... 2 tones of blue, 3 tones of red and if you decide to swtich from black (which I'm not suggesting) it would make 6 total colors.
I think it's badass, but it would be cool too if he was missing his back too legs and had one of those doggy wheel chair things that they drag behind them you know what I'm talkin about?? that'd be funny shit. Well done though, switch it to grey walker and a white neck brace thing and I'm all over buyin it. |

I like it, it doesn't need a bandage. You see a collar like that on a quadriped and you know exactly what it is. I'd prefer a different background color but it's a great design, nice detail, I'd buy it as it is.

This shirt is perfect....dont change the colour (every one knows what it is, you dont have to make it grey it is already instantly recognisable)
and... DONT YOU DARE DO ANYTHING TO ITS LEG..it makes perfect sense as it is, a broken leg would make it look stupid and less funny. I love it and would buy it in a second. Infact in the future I already have bought it |

Ash Sammy, I don't see any resemblance to that Bionic-Systems did. Big deal, they both used a Walker... so what? The drawing is completely original and the walker in your reference doesn't have a dog cone on it's head.

"bortwein" is not alone in his opinion. I checked with the good people of Threadless (via email) and they say this shirt may have to wait a bit because they'd rather not over do the Star Wars thing. So I have discontinued the Star Wars design that would have been my 2nd submission and am working on an alternate.
Oh "Ash Sammy" I finally found the At At on Bionic-System and don't really appreciate you making such a stretch to bad mouth my integrity. My At At is far from a hand drawn, line art version with speakers in its side. |

How is this not infringing on Lucus' trademark? I know threadless likes to sell lots of shirts by printing crowd-pleasing designs featuring trademarked characters, but I think they are tempting fate. They *are* making money from these things, *without* clearance, as far as I know. At some point, someone is going to notice and I would hate to see such an awesome site get shut down. Please, please, please focus on printing creative designs that do not trade on someone else's creation, no matter how funny they are or how well they sell.
No offense--it's a nice design, well done. But this is what the trademark owner would see as a bootleg shirt, and threadless is more easy to find than some booth at a swap meet. |

Colors are very clashing, which can be nice, but it'd be cool to at least see it in a diff color scheme. Also i think the obvious boo boo on the leg would be fitting, but thats just me.

It kills me to watch comments come in begging for this to be a shirt. I wanted so badly for it to be one. The email I got from Threadless said it was a combination of "fear" of Lucas and not wanting to over do the Star Wars theme. Its too bad cause people obviously want it.
