Do the houses make a picture from a distance? I feel like they should and I'm not seeing it. If they don't im nit dure I understand... 3

i like the design, but i hate the colours. To me, black and red say 'Im an emo/goth whos heart bleeds black blood. Pity me.'

i find it boring. it just looks like blocks with lines connecting them, and is lackluster. plus i agree with holdingtheflare about the colors.
what does this have to do with the arcade fire? their songs titled neighborhood #1/2/3 ? |

I took it to be a schematic of a circuit board. I think the desgin is too large to be off center. I would like black on a green T, but that's probably just because I am getting the circuit vibe. I definetly didn't get that those were actual houses. 4 because I like the technical feel to it.

i like the idea a lot. it took me a little bit to realize that they were houses even though the title would make that easy. I agree with fyirie that this is a bit to big to be off center. Also I think that the red makes it difficult to see all of the details. It does get the theme of the contest but it is difficult to make out. It would be really cool if the houses were laid out in a way to make a bigger picture.

It's annoying how narrow minded most people on this site seem to be... BLACK OR RED doesn't mean goth etc.! I like black because it goes with anything. And, red on black or vice versa looks sharp!

Nice idea man. I dig it and I know others who'd like it as well, so I'll be sure to send them this way. Black & Red are my favorite color combinations, so do other colors if you want (fyirie had a good idea with black & green) but don't be swayed by my or anyone else's opinion. Keep it up dude.

Look, black and red are merely a combination of high-contrast colors. They look excellent together, which is why you see them in so many places. Sure, you see a lot of "emo-goth" people wearing those two colors, but GET OVER IT. I really want to rate this high just because somebody said that, but...the design is kind of boring. Either too many lines or too many houses. It just seems like a random cluster with no point to it.
