I like it, but the position of the girl being ballooned away is unnatural. It looks like her body is defying gravity just as much as her balloons. If you put her right arm down and brought her legs together it would be $5.

grayehound on Jan 26 '06 Is it possible to grow tired of the sillohette through the trees thing? Maybe, but it still works well here. The cream color doesn't really stand out very well against the greens and makes the feeling kinda blah. Nice details, though.

The silouettes with the colored backgrounds look very nice, but they're starting to pop up a lot around here. Especially with circles in the background. While I like it, I can't say what makes this one better than the others.

I love it, especially the colors and including the white balloons. But I agree that the girl needs to be hanging, not floating.
Unfortunately, I'm on the verge of being sick of silhouettes. |

Oh, I just saw your new version - it's... better but she still looks float-y. The majority of her weight needs to be centered directly under her hand, not off to the side, you know what I mean? But these are nitpicks...

love it - the colours are fab! i agree with the floaty-ness of the girl though. but i really really love the colours

I really like everything about this, except for the silhouette of the trees right there, because it makes me think the balloons will get caught in the branches and the poor kid'll be stuck up there for a few hours. I like the original colors you have here, but the dakota slate's nice, too. And I really don't mind the floating instead of hanging bit since you fixed the leg. If it were shown exactly as it would be with gravity and all (if the balloons could still do that), it would look like too much effort to hang on. Minus the trees there, I'd buy it!

i must agree with whoever above mentioned how close it is to Banksy, almost like Banksy elaborated on his balloon girl, and then made her a bit worse...but i like the background/cityscape, although a more industrial one could've made the shirt that much more intelligent

the balloons should be the darker green of the city i think. but yeah... a 3 for something pretty unoriginal, but well executed (minus the balloon color). |

excellent choice onthe colors. i really enjoy the silhouette of the background, and the dog is always a plus. the only thing that i would change is the floating kids legs. they seem kinda stiff, maybe you could bend them a little.. but either way, i would buy this tee if threadless printed it. $5 |
