i don't like that the queen of diamonds is kicking when the rest aren't. maybe i'm missing something. also, i would make each queen slightly different (i'm pretty sure that's what real playing cards are like). other than that it's pretty funny!

What, are you guys kidding? None of the queens look alike in a deck of cards. I believe that is the standard Queen of Hearts. Great concept, but I too would have liked the other queens. 3 as it is now.

I really like the concept of this and some things are so well done and other parts aren't. You nailed the folding of the card but the queens face needs work (whether they are the same are not) and the one on the end should also be kicking and these girls need shoes!! (and maybe fish nets)

I wouldn't have thought of it if mmoleson didn't mention it but you're right- the face cards are all different in the same deck. that would make this more interesting instead of the copy/paste look.
...unless you made them all queen of hearts, then it would make sense for them to be identical. i don't know if it's meant to be dancers holding up cards, or that the cards themselves have legs? it would be funnier if the cards were proportioned to the body, right now the torsos look really scrunched and their left legs look twice as long as the rights. (shoes?) good idea though! |

It's a really good idea, but I would like them to be wearing shoes the feet look a bit like flippers to me.

I'm in the "All the queens are different" camp, but I agree with the concept that all the girls are the same. So I guess I'm in the "Go with making them all the Queen of Hearts" camp.

Isn't there a suicide queen who's sticking a sword in her head? Or is that a king.....or a jack. I dunno, but I had a poker party last night and the queen's were DEFINITELY different.

if this is going to be a FRENCH cancan, you should use a french deck of cards to model it after. i lived in france for a while, and the cards are so different
