This is my first design and I decided to try something more straightforward. I wanted to portray indecision so the figure's mind is literally torn. Or you could say his head blew up from all the stress..."whatever blows yer skirt up" as some say.
I was scared people would think it was too boring so I added the thought bubble for some whimsy. And I thought the acronym fit because I know when I'm stressed out over a choice, I just want to know why this always happens to me!
Looking at the finished product, I think I was subconsciously inspired by Daniel Clowes and "Ghost World." I hope you like it!
It's supposed to be about being "torn" over making a decision and I guess I just added that thought bubble to add some humor because I didn't think people would like just the illustration alone. But apparently it would have been preferable...oh well. Better luck next time.
Good artwork. I love the Daniel Clowes reference. Ghost World is a fantastic graphic novel. Since you have great taste, and a decent design, I'll give you a 4
